В 2008 г. компания Nik Software, Inc. выпустила обновлён-ный релиз плагина
Viveza v1.001 - 4198 для Adobe Photoshop CS 4, позволяющий регулировать яркость,
контрастность и насыщенность цвета отдельных объектов или областей фотоснимка.
Плагин Viveza самостоятельно выделяет нужные объекты и создает маски в автоматическом
режиме, тем самым позволяя специалистам трудиться более продуктивно. В основе плагина
имеется технология U Point, которая дает возможность отказаться от сложных выделений
или масок слоя.
Пользователь указывает так называемые точки управления цветом (Color Control Points),
после чего, используя ползунки, пользователь может управлять яркостью, цветом,
контрастностью и другими параметрами.
Поскольку плагин сам создает маски на основе точек, указанных пользо-вателем, время,
затрачиваемое на редактирование фотографий, заметно уменьшается.
